I inscribe myself as LCMT, and will answer readily to Lin, if that's your preference. I function as the owner, operator and general dogsbody of the Intaglio Galosh Press—which, it should be explained, has neither intaglios nor presses, nor even a lone galosh. I am a woolgatherer, a dawdler, an ignoramus and an omnivore. I am legged, but not bow-legged, and generally I consider myself less saline than most people, but that could be a misapprehension on my part. I am nine inches long, from the inside of my elbow to the inside of my wrist. I am a deficient typist. My favorite shirts are soft, raggedy, 100% cotton and long-sleeved. My favorite shoes are cotton oxfords—I grew up in Keds, after all—and I wear them out until their soles crack. If you have a question about anything, feel free to use the comments or e-mail. All contents of this journal, except otherwise noted, are copyrighted by LCMT.
Explained Against My Better Instincts
Poetry in an Unexpected Place
The Agate Hinge and Other Poems : Copies of the first edition are still available. The books are soft cover, hand-bound, signed and numbered; the covers are printed in different color variations. $12.00 per book, plus $3.00 shipping; I am amenable to trading books. E-mail is a good way to contact me.
A selection of poems from The Agate Hinge remain online:
What to Say to a Prince: Some Suggestions for a Damsel
For you I will chisel away the starless sand
Carpet Tacks (The Hardware Ballad)
Hammer tack! Bobbin puller! Rubber mallet!
free waves mustering
totem poles in a barking sea
my dream home
this groaning house is mine
Rural Route 1, Box 54
If I again
Nuestra Señora
She cannot renew the day without his cloudiness of glower
The Paperleaf Project
Local Weather
